Hello, I’m Isabella Littleford, a longtime style professional with a profound enthusiasm for exploring the crossroads of high fashion and daily wear.

Backed by 10+ years in style and design, I’ve had the amazing opportunity of sharpening my skills in Paris—the heart of haute couture and partnering with renowned design icons worldwide. That experience taught me to recognize high-caliber craftsmanship, fresh concepts, and enduring style. I’ve always been captivated by Golden Goose sneakers, a brand that seamlessly blends a vintage-inspired edge with refined construction and premium materials. In this article, I’ll be sharing my personal take on various Superstar variants, diving into their style, comfort, and versatility.

Whether you obsess over every new drop or just want a reliable fashion-forward pair, I’m here to help you understand the appeal with advice shaped by my industry experience. Let’s explore what makes these sneakers a standout choice!

Not too long ago, I picked up my first-ever pair of Golden Goose sneakers (and shared them first in this post!), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I thought it was time for a full review! I’ve also broken them in well that I can confidently speak to their craftsmanship, and golden goose footwear a variety of other factors about them, which you’ll see broken down further.

So I’m diving into a bunch of common questions, as well as how to grab them for less, below! Also, if you’re looking for more of my recent reviews, have a scroll through my Abercrombie vs. Agolde jean shorts review, Goyard tote bag breakdown, and Dudley Stephens fleece review!

Where can I find Golden Goose sneakers?

Cettire had them on sale and I jumped on it right away!

I ordered them on the 28th of April and they were delivered by the 30th, so the shipping was lightning fast and that’s a win in my book

How much do they go for?

When I ordered my pair in April, I paid just under $390, but their regular price is $513.91.

You can expect to pay between four hundred bucks and seventeen hundred depending on their uniqueness.

How is the fit?

They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a European 36.

Since they don’t stretch and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d choose the larger option.

Is the comfort worth it?

Honestly, they feel great, and only took a few hours to break in..

How durable are they?

They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and I’m impressed with the durability. The laces are intact, and the structure feels strong. Because they already look worn, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.

Do they feel better than other shoes?

Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose still come out on top. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the sparkle on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.

Would you recommend them?

Absolutely! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They’re expensive, so getting them discounted is worth it. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you get a pair you love. I went bold with sparkle, but a minimalist version would also be smart.

Best places to buy them cheaper?

Check out my list below. I had a 10/10 experience with GGoose.org, so I think they’re a great option.

Where did you score your pair?

Cettire had them on sale and I jumped on it right away!

I ordered them on the 28th of April and they were at my door by April 30th, so the shipping was super fast .

How much do they run?

I picked them up for $385.43, though they usually go for around $513.91.

You can expect to pay between $410 and $1,700 depending on their uniqueness.

Are they true to size?

I’d say they fit just right, based on my pair. Since they keep their shape and half sizes aren’t available, I’d recommend sizing up.

Is the comfort worth it?

They felt good right away. No-show socks help with the break-in period, especially since they help with airflow. Top-quality leather, so it’s much more pleasant than breaking in synthetic materials. Bonus, they’re already broken-in so your feet just adjust easily.

How durable are they?

Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and I’m impressed with the durability. No glitter has fallen off, and the leather hasn’t stretched.

Because they already look worn, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
